Herman Portz is painting his house white and has painted his barn red. He is improving his farm continuously.

People in this neighborhood are almost done haying.

Miss Clara Lindow spent Monday afternoon with Miss Nellie Harrison. Mr. Charles Albrecht had lightning rods put on his new house, as did Mrs. Mary Fischer on her new barn.

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Lindow and granddaughter Verna and Mr. and Mrs. John Lindow and son Roy were Sunday evening callers at the Louis Lindow home.

The Y.P.A. of the Evangelical Church will have their meeting Sunday evening. Topic: “How Men Cheat Themselves.” Scripture readings: Prov. 14:12, Ps. 1:1-16. Consecration meetings - Leader: Otto Drescher.

John Lindow hauled a load of cheese for Herman Wordell Tuesday.

Walter Fischer helped Chas. Albrecht haul hay Monday.
