Memorial services were held Tuesday, January 17, at the Simmons Chapel in Kansas City, Kansas for Mrs. L. N. Thomas, mother of Mrs. W. W. Trindal. The officiating clergyman was Dr. W. L. McGraw of Emerson Park Christian Church at Kansas City. Interment was in the Maple Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Thomas died January 13th.

The former Margaret Emma Brooke was born July 22, 1879 in Kansas and was married to L. N. Thomas in Lansing Kansas in 1902.

She is survived by her husband, two brothers, Bert and Tom brooke, Kansas City Kansas; one son Ernest, Kansas City, Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. Russell (Lucille) Schierbaum, Kansas City, Kansas and Mrs. W. W. (Dorothie) Trindal, Loyal; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two children, Laura and Louis Thomas.
