Micke, Mary (14 OCT 1878 - 11 OCT 1963)

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mary Micke on Monday, Oct. 14th at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Church in Thorp. Mrs. Micke passed away on Oct. 11th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Benzschawel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton Micke, who passed away Nov. 12, 1954.

She is survived by one son, William Micke Sr. of the Town of Worden, Mrs. Joe (Anna) Benzschawel of Thorp, Mrs. Frank (Cecelia) Velcheck of Stevens Point, Mrs. Robert Benzschawel (Veronica), Mrs. B.J. (Delores) Burkhardt of Thorp, Mrs. Leon (Leonora) Haynes of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Marian Culbert of Eau Claire and Mrs. W.G. (Margaret) Vanderhyden of Thorp, twenty nine grandchildren and fifty seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Micke was born Oct. 14, 1878 in Brillion, Wis.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Reinhold and Ronald Benzschawel, Jerry Micke, Joe Benzschawel Jr., Pat Culbert, Richard Vanderhyden.

Those attending from out of town were from Milwaukee, Appleton, Brillion, Cato, Reedsville , Kaukauna, De Pere, Wrightstown, Stevens Point, Greenwood, Gilman, Medford, Ellsworth, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Boyd, Eau Claire and Tampa, Fla.
