Mrs. A. Montgomery and granddaughter
mildred James spent Friday with the Arthur Phipps family.
The W.W. Club
members and families and a number of other friends of Mr. and Mrs. W.J.
McClaflin met at their home Thursday evening and helped them celebrate their
20th wedding anniversary. The evening was spent in a pelasant way by visiting
and eating a fine supper. The guests departed at a late hour wishing Mr. and
Mrs. McClaflin many more happy returns of the event.
The County Club met
with the Misses Alta and Katie Wright Friday evening. A large crowd was in
attendance and a good time is reported.
Mrs. E.A. Soles spent Monday
afternoon with Mrs. W.J. Davis.
Mr. and Mrs. M. Dorst and daughter Mabel
spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Jap Spry.
A number of the young
people of this vicinity attended the J.B. Club picnic at Black River, Sunday.
They report a fine time.
Mr. and Mrs. W.J. McClaflin and daughters Lucile
and Retta Belle spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Phipps.
Mr. and
Mrs. L.A. Schneider and children and Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Phipps autoed to
Marshfield Monday afternoon.
Katie Wright spent Sunday evening with Elsie
Dorst.
Mr. Jesse Rowe was a business caller at Neillsville Tuesday.
Mable Dorst, who spent almost 2 weeks with her sister Nell in the A.M.
Johnson family at Rozellville, returned home Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Orren
Montgomery and baby Allen spent Tuesday with the Arthur Phipps family.
