Mrs. Ray Ure of Chili visited her sisters Mrs. Ed Ure and Mrs. John Breseman, the latter part of last week.

Robert and Susie Breseman of Marshfield visited the Opelt children in the town of Levis and Sunday came to Lynn to visit friends and relatives.

A double birthday party was given to little Anita Helm and Lucile Altenburg Saturday afternoon, when a large crowd of their little friends gathered at the Helm home and gave them a big surprise.

Mrs. Fred Hankey has been on the sick list for several days.

Lucas Hale has vacated the old home and moved out to Peter Jensen’s.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sternitzky and little daughters are here from Janesville on a visit to their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sternitzky.

Paul Folz and daughter Barbara and Mrs. Lenhardt and two sons Will and John visited friends in Marshfield the past week.

Fred Capelle went to Marshfield Saturday and brought back his auto that had been laid up for repairs for some time.

Richard Gotter and family of Rozellville came down Saturday and, accompanied by his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. August Gotter, autoed to Pardeeville on a visit to Ferdinand Gotter of that place.

Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt, on their return trip from Sheridan to visit their daughter Lillian, stopped in Lynn to visit old neighbors and friends. They also stopped and took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Allie Hoover in Pittsville.

Mrs. Clement Montag visited her sister in Neillsville last week and while there was very sick, but at present is at home and feeling quite good again.

Several of the boys from here have gone west to the harvest fields.

Harry Cole and Wm. Schmidt have enlisted in the National Guard and gone to Camp Douglas.

Mr. Chapman of Oshkosh transacted business here Tuesday.
