Nanny and Ida Destinon went to Wausau
Friday to visit, before returning to their home in Milwaukee.
Mr. and
Mrs. Emil Manthey have bought a farm in levis.
There was a ball game on
August Dudei’s field Sunday afternoon, between Tioga boys and Hewettville. The
latter won the game.
Clara and Frieda Henchen came home from Dubuque,
Iowa, Saturday.
The condensary is sending a truck to gather milk in this
vicinity now. There are many new patrons.
Will Glasow Jr. has gone to St.
Paul to work.
Merle Busch of Alma Center was here to visit her sister,
Mrs. John Mow, from Thursday until Monday.
Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow and son,
Willard, spent Monday a nd Tuesday with Mrs. Joe Gall at Neillsville.
Henry Quast has purchased the L. Polzin place.
The dance at Prock’s Hall
Friday evening was well attended and greatly enjoyed by all. The music was
especially good.
Alphonse Prinz left Wednesday for Norfolk, Va., after an
extended visit here with his sister, Mrs. Jim Fenful.
Vern Howard, Tim
King and Mr. Lee of Grant were here for the dance Friday evening.
William
Mallig was at Neillsville Tuesday for examination before the Registration Board.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Ingham and Lulu Bedell motored over from Tioga Friday
evening to attend the dance.
Albert Steinberg came Saturday from Hopkins,
Minn. to appear before the Registration Board.
