Henry Schuelke was at Chili on business yesterday.

Joe Hoeft went to Chili Tuesday on a several days visit with relatives.

Miss Lucile Henze joined the Davis’ at Dells Dam Tuesday evening.

Chas. Hayden went to Chili on Tuesday.

Ed Sternitzky and Arthur Hillert were count seat visitors on Monday.

Mrs. Byrl Winn and little daughter visited at Kilbourn this week.

Miss Pearl Brooks spent Saturday with friends at Neillsville.

S.B. Calway of Neillsville transacted business here on Monday.

Miss Thea Marsh was a Neillsville visitor on Monday.

H.S. Agin was a county seat caller Saturday.

Mrs. Amelia Pischer of Neillsville spent Saturday here with her sister, Mrs. Aug. Lautenbach.

Geo. Kocher of Alma Center spent a couple of days of last week here with friends.

Miss Ruth Davis of Greenwood is visiting relatives in the Solon Davis and Geo. Huntley home since Sunday.

Hon. S.M. Marsh and family of San Diego, Calif. spent last Friday here with relatives and old friends.

Miss Annie Hiles came home mond from a visit to friends at Neillsville,

Miss Jean Davis, with her little sister Ursula, visited Neillsville friends on Wednesday.

Arnold Garbush left for Rochester, Minn. Wednesday on a several weeks’ vacation and Pleasure trip.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Montgomery of Neillsville spent Friday here with Mr. and Mrs. Orren Hickox.

Mrs. Elizabeth Fuller and granddaughter Gertrude Osgood spent Friday with friends at Marshfield.

Mrs. L.E. Peckham of Grand Rapids came Tuesday and is since visiting between Mrs. Mary Marsh’s and Sid Davis’.

Mrs. Owen and her granddaughter Lillie Lapp of Chili spent the weekend here with relatives in the Walter Coil home.

Miss Clara Liston of Fond du Lac is visiting Mrs. Ezra Sherrett since Wednesday.

Mrs. Meisneheimer and her three children arrived here from Milwaukee Wednesday on a visit to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zwick.

Mrs. L.A. Anthony and Miss Genevieve Walters of Weyauwega are here visiting at E.A. Schroeder’s on Route 3 since Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. A.O. Hoppenstedt, their sons Harold and daughter Frances of Chicago are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Burt Wells on Route 1 since Wednesday evening.

Mrs. Chas. Lowe and daughter Beatrice, after a 6 week visit to Emil Lockman and mother, returned to Duluth on Tuesday.

Mrs. James King and Mrs. Geo. Swan, with the latter’s son Hebert, all of North Grant, went to Crandon Monday on a week’s visit to relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Sternitzky and daughter Vivian went to Sheridan Friday on a several days visit at Paul Martin’s.

Mrs. Oscar Johnson, Willard, Nellie and Harvey autoed down on the Ridge with Mrs. Baer Friday and spent the day with relatives.

Mrs. Anna Sweeney and her grandsons Donald and Vilas Baker of Grand Rapids, after a several days visit at Geo. Hollenbach’s on Route 2, went home on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sternitzky and their 2 children of Janesville are here since last week Thursday visiting relatives in the Henry Sternitzky home.

Mrs. Gus Arndt and children returned to Neillsville Thursday after a several days visit at Hy Sternitzky’s in Lynn.

Miss Nelda Schuelke of Marshfield came Friday for a week’s visit at the Martin Ehrhardt home in the town of Fremont.

Rev. Martter and sister, Miss Emily of Veefkind were with Rev. Kemena and family of Loyal, over Sunday guests.

Miss Nettie Austin and her nephew Lawence Anderson of Taylor, after a several days visit with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Davis at Neillsville, returned tot eh Truman Davis home on Monday.

Louis Elmhorst of Route 2 enjoyed a visit from his brother, who was up from Illinois last week and who on Monday bought the Cash Ide farm. Mr. Elmhorst expects to take possession in December at least, and may possibly sooner.

Fred Hart and children autoed to Humbird Sunday and returned Monday, accompanied by Mrs. Hart, who had been visiting here since Friday.

The Misses Parl and Haidee Beeckler went to Spencer Wednesday on a several days visit at the earl Pickett home and more particularly to get acquainted with their little seven weeks old nice, Baby Ruth Ione Pickett.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Poate of Neillsville, with their son Wm. Poate of Salt Lake City, Utah, autoed over from Neillsville one day last week and made a visit at Mrs. Annie Williams’.

Mrs. G.F. Murphy is visiting at Milwaukee and other state points since last Friday.

Geo. Wilson came home Monday from a several days business trip to Moorhead, Minn.

Miss Gertrude Kimball of Marshfield spent Sunday here with the W.S. Davis family.

T.D. Wage and Homer Downer, with their autoes, too a blue berrying trip to Sherwood on Saturday.

Will Prust of Chili is assisting Ernest Crevecour with carpenter work on the W.J. Thayer building.

Miss Lydia Neinas went to Lodi Wednesday on a week’s visit to Miss Bessie Davis.

Chas. Bollom and family autoed to Humbird Saturday and made an over Sunday visit.

Miss Eunice Lloyd is on a week’s vacation visit with home folks at Columbia, since Saturday.

Mrs. Romanzo Davis returned from her visit at La Valle and Viroqua on Tuesday.

Chas. Haltaufderheide, Chas. E. Brooks and J.E. Rowe were Neillsville visitors on Tuesday.

Warren Page came up from Waupun Wednesday and visited home folk until Saturday night.

E.R. Wonser and family arrived home from their auto trip to Galesville on Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Hale Davis, her son Robert and Miss Moore autoed to Neillsville Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Chas. Budd of Route 4 returned from her visit to her mother at Rio on Wednesday.

Mrs. Ed Riedel and her two sons came over from Neillsville Friday on a visit to home folk on Route 2.

Mrs. Clark Waterman and daughter Helene came over from Chili Tuesday to visit at A.E. Beeckler’s.

The Misses Mary Kosnoski and Stella Nadolski of Neillsville visited Mrs. Bertha Frecehette on Route 4 last week Thursday.

The Misses Helen and Grace Benson of Racine came Wednesday for a two week visit at Price Lee’s. Miss Beulah Lee went to Neillsville and met them that morning.

Miss Julia Coughell of Harbor Beach, Mich. who has been visiting the John Kintzele family at Neillsville for several weeks past, was a guest of the Price Lee family here on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gerber, their son Alfred and daughter Natalie arrived home Monday evening from a several days auto trip and visit in Sheboygan County.

Mrs. F.J. Baer, daughter Helene and her nice Miss Bernice Stockwell, and Miss Shirley Knorr, autoed to Grand Rapids Saturday and spent the day on pleasure bent.

Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Wonser and daughters Mermel and Elizabeth left by auto Sunday morning on a several days pleasure trip and visit with relatives at Galesville.

Dr. and Mrs. H.L. Rose, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Berg, Homer Downer, Mrs. A.C. Holmes and Herman Schoengarth were on a blue berrying trip near City Point on Sunday.

Mrs. Fricke and daughter Zura walked over from Neillsville Wednesday and spent the afternoon with the Ernest Dixon family, and went home by train that evening.

Mrs. W.S. Davis, her son Lawrence and daughter Gertrude, and Miss Neva Henze are spending the week in the Ed Holverson cottage near Dells Dam. They went down on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Hubbard, their daughter Corinne and son Bobby are here from Oshkosh visiting relatives in the Herman Braatz family since Tuesday.

Miss Della Wagner of Burlington accompanied the Henry Braatz family home from there by auto last Saturday and visited them until yesterday, when she left on the return trip by train.

E.R. Wonser has just had his farm house on Route 1 re-painted, and now the barn, machine shed and other out buildings there are undergoing a like process. The Riedels have the job in hand.

Rev. and Mrs. Schmidt and baby Ruth, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jaeger, all of Pine River, were over Sunday guests of Rev. and Mrs. J. Reiff.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beyer of Portland, Oregon, spent the first of the week here and the Stockwells at Neillsville went home to Spooner, Tuesday.

Miss Bernice Stockwell, after a week’s visit with the Baers here and the Stockwells of Neillsville, went home to Spooner on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Pischer of Washington, Kansas, arrived her Tuesday on a visit to Dr. and Mrs. H.L. Rose.

Nick Wilger of Neillsville is helping with the brick laying at the W.J. Thayer building.

S.B. Calway of Neillsville is assisting Wm. Free with the carpenter work on the Chas. Brooks house since Wednesday.

Mrs. Hubbard of Oshkosh, who is visiting at Herman Braatz’s, went to Marshfield Wednesday and met her husband, who came up that day to join his family in their visit there.

Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Benedict and children of the town of York autoed to Marshfield Sunday and spent the day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Davis, and her brother Jay Davis and his wife.

The Misses Isabelle Slocomb and Mary Grasser went to St. Paul Monday where they are since mastering the latest wrinkles in the millinery business in a wholesale house in that city.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Collins and their three children came over from Neillsville Saturday a nd made an over Sunday visit at the Geo. Huntley home, and Mr. and Mrs. Huntley accompanied him home on Monday.

Mr. Arthur Kohlhepp and Mrs. Wm. Kohlhepp, after a visit at the Martin Ehrhardt’s in the town of Fremont, went home to Eau Claire Monday, accompanied by Miss Eunice Ehrhardt and Master Chas. Hillman.

Mrs. Pater Beauchaine and Miss Betsy Beauchaine of Fairview, Mont., Mr. and Mrs. James Mercer and their 4 children of Nasonville, Mrs. August Treweiler and son Buddy of Marshfield, visited at Bertie Todd’s on Route 1 on Sunday.
