Neillsville High School Class of 1957 (55th Reunion - 2 September 2012)

The Class of Neillsville High School’s Class of 1957 held its 55 year reunion at the American Legion Hall Sept. 2, 2012.

Dennis Harcey served as Master of Ceremonies and a moment of silence was observed for deceased classmates and graduates. They include: Anton Adamec, Richard Bertrang, Betty (Counsell) Noah, Lester Finder, Mary (Hanson) Lovvik, Marilyn (Hubing) Gregorich, Dennis Johnson, Jim Krause, Paul Manz, John Mazola, Pat (Miller) Hagen, Donald Strangfeld, Bernard Wavrunek, Lois (Asplin) Wick, Norma (Payne) Nelson, James Nauertz, James Quicker, Dean Bryan, Eddie Bertrang, Judy (Plummer) Garbisch and Susan Thompson.

Harcey also related high school stories of the past and introduced Eugene Hagen, who told several jokes.

JoAnn (Grap) Ruzic reported on the University of Wisconsin Longitudinal Study of the Class of 1957. There are several classmates included in this study.

The class members present voted to donate to a scholarship fund at Neillsville High School from a fund balance.

Another reunion may be planned for 2017.
