Kotecki, Anton (27 MAR 1898 - 9 NOV 1963)

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 1963 for Anton Kotecki, 65, who passed away Saturday, Nov. 9th, 1963 at his home in the city of Thorp, after a short illness. Father Edward Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. service at St. Hedwig’s Chapel and burial was in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Peter Wnek, John Roytek, Louis Papierniak, John Maslowski, Stanley Neiman and Ignatius Przybylski.

Mr. Kotecki, a retired farmer, was born March 27, 1898 at Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis. On June 21, 1922 he was united in marriage to Constance Arendt at Thorp.

Surviving are his wife Constance; four sons, Lawrence of Wheatridge, Colo., Aloysius of Denver, Colo., Anthony of Thorp, Leon of Champaign, Ill.; one daughter, Cecelia of Gilroy, Calif.; one brother, Frank Kotecki of Thorp; one sister Mrs. Tena Kowalski of Stanley and 15 grandchildren.
