Plautz Bros Gavel
Pit Robbed (12 NOV 1963)
Plautz Bros. gravel pit, 6 1/2 miles east of
Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) on County Trunk “X” was robbed late Tuesday or early
yesterday morning, Sheriff Ray Kutsche reported tot eh Thorp Courier.
The
tool shed (trailer house) was broken into by cutting a large chain which served
as a lock.
Taken were the following items: Battery charger, 1/8 inch
Black and Decker electric drill, 9 inch Black & Decker grinder and sander, Wheel
wrench, 50 ft. light cord with trouble light at end, 3 sets 3/4 inch sockets, 1
and 2 inch sockets, 6 volt lantern, 24 quarts of oil, Smith cutting torch, hoes
and regulator.
