Quist, Scott A. (7 JUN 1962 - 7 SEP 2012)

Scott A. Quist, age 50, of Dorchester, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012.

Scott was born June 7, 1962, to John and Peggy (Peterson) Quist. He graduated from St. Croix Central High School in Hammond.

He was employed with Weathershield in Medford. Scott was joined in marriage to Kim Bargenquast on June 10 1998, in Medford.

He owned and operated Safe and Sane Fireworks. He enjoyed farming, riding his Harley-Davison, playing baseball and practicing karate with his son, Skylar, going four-wheeling and going to truck pulls.

Scott is survived by his wife, Kim; his children, Skylar, Chris, Billy and Josh; one granddaughter; his sisters, Brenda (Quist) Ziebh and Lois Quist.

A funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. A visitation will be held from 4:00 until the time of service at the funeral home.
