About twenty folks dropped in on Mrs. Anna Mundt last
Wednesday night and gave Miss Viola a surprise party on her birthday. The
evening was spent in games and music. At midnight dainty refreshments were
served and at 1 o’clock they all departed for their homes, wishing Viola many
more happy birthdays.
Mrs. Herman Henning was a Marshfield caller
Tuesday.
Anton Hogenson is owner of a new 7-passenger Mitchell car.
Al Wendorf has the cellar and foundation for his house finished and will
move the house on same in near future.
Mrs. Wendorf and children are
visiting relatives and friends at New Richmond.
Maurice Rustad and family
have moved to Augusta. He has employment there in a cheese factory.

Meier hurt his knee quite badly last Friday while driving fence posts.
George Allen was a business caller at Granton last Friday.
Mrs. H.
Breseman Sr. died Monday morning at her home, after several months’ illness.
Mrs. Anna Mundt and daughter Vivrene autoed to Marshfield Friday with her
brother H.H. Henning.
Mrs. W.R. Blocksidge, who was reported to have been
killed in a motorcycle accident near Marshfield, we are happy to say, is,
although seriously injured, as yet alive, and we believe today, Thursday, has a
chance of recovery.
