Mrs. Mary Jane Counsell and Mr. Geo. Huckstead, two popular Ridge people, sprung
a great surprise on their many friends here a week ago Sunday, June 24th, 1917,
when they went to Eau Claire and were married in the new Methodist Episcopal
Church, dedicated there that day. They have taken up residence in Marshfield,
where they will be pleased to greet any and all of their old friends who may
wish to call on them. Mr. Huckstead is engaged in the business of parafining
cheese.
