Hofmann, Theresa (Abt. 1874-Mar 1961)

Rev. Joseph Martinson officiated at the Mass of Requiem Saturday morning at St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield for Mrs. Theresa Hofmann, 87, the mother of Mrs, John Castner. Burial was made in the Gate of Heaven cemetery. Mrs. Hofmann died Wednesday morning at the home of her son, Fred, at route 3, Marshfield after suffering from a heart ailment for the past two years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, a son and two brothers. Survivors include six sons, Karl Lamar, Missouri; Roman, St. Paul, Minnesota; Wenzel, route 3 Marshfield; Frank, Casper, Wyoming; Joseph, Milwaukee and Fred, route 3, Marshfield; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Hoffman, Marshfield; Mrs. Rose Krist, Kenosha; and Mrs. John (Theresa) Castner, Loyal; 23 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.

Attending the services from Loyal were Mr. and Mrs. John Kastner and Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Wehrman.
