Little Irman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.C.F. Witt, was
attacked with inflammation of the stomach and Sunday they took her to the St.
Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Mrs. Witt remained with the little one. She was
reported better Wednesday.
John Martin and family, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Grassman, Mr. and Mrs. John Speiser and Lucas Hale and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur
Garbush and family, each in their car, autoed down to Max Opelt’s in the town of
Levi and spent Sunday.
Mrs. Arthur Opelt is back from the Hanneman
Hospital in Chicago and is reported much better and on the gain.
Mr. and
Mrs. Allie Hoover of Pittsville autoed up and visited Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn
and the Henry Williams family on Friday.
Walter Seefeldt left the latter
part of last week to visit friends in Milwaukee.
Those from here who were
transacting business at Marshfield in the last week were Mr. and Mrs. A.C.F.
Witt, Walter Krause, Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schultz,
Mrs. John Lenhardt.
The Misses Mamie and Gladys Ure entertained the J.H.
Club last Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Wescott of Greenwood were Sunday
guests of Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn.
Mrs. August Arndt and family of
Neillsville is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sternitzky.
Max
Opelt of the town of Levis transacted business in this place Monday.
