Victory was won at
the Nasonville Hall Thursday and Friday evening of last week when the dramatic
club pulled of their play “The Little Big Horn,” and a purse of $43.70 was
cleared for a local chapter of the Red Cross. This is going some, but hearts
were in the cause and great sincerity of purpose was manifest. Besides, Rock
Township has some of the best dramatic talent in the state, so critics tell us.
A number of Lindsey women attended the Red Cross meeting in Marshfield last
Friday, familiarizing themselves with the work, and they have called a work
meeting for this Tuesday afternoon at church to sew.
Fred Seltrecht and
S. Rosendale of Sherwood delivered stock here Monday to the local dealer, Mr.
Hahm.
Paul Kid’s bungalow is well-nigh completed.
Ben Brademan has
gone to Milwaukee.
