W. Guenther hauled some wood for A. Voigt Wednesday and
Thursday.
Mr. G. Deegan’s mother visited at A. Teatz’s from Wednesday
until Thursday morning.
Mrs. Geo. Redman, accompanied by Mrs. Wm. Boller,
called at Granton on Friday.
Friends from Spokeville called on A. Voigt
Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Neimac of Chili spent Saturday evening and
Sunday with Mrs. Anna Lustig.
Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Breseman, Mr. and Mrs.
Wm. Breseman autoed to Rozellville Friday and visited the R. Gotter family.
The Goebel-Worchel threshing machine started out last Saturday and threshed
some rye in the neighborhood.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hillert spent Friday
evening with Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Worchel on the Ridge.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Wiesner and sister Emma, Mr. and Mrs. F. Zille, Mr. and Mrs. E. Keuer and two
boys, Leslie and Heber, Mr. C. Wiesner and Mrs. Wm. Boller went to City Point
Saturday to pick blueberries. We all got enough to make a couple pies. A good
time was had, even though the berries were scarce.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter
Moldenhauer, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wischulke, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Breseman, Mr. and Mrs.
John Goebel, Mable and Henry Schier, Fred Breseman, Carlton Boller and several
others attended the wedding dance at Sherwood Hall Saturday night and all report
having the best time of the season.
Grandmas and Auntie Keuer visited at
the Lemke and Fred Hankey homes a couple days last week.
Martin Breseman
made cheese for E. Fischer of Nasonville Sunday, while Ernest and wife went to
Camp Douglas. The water was so deep in the road in one place coming home, they
had to stop and wait until morning before proceeding further.
Miss Clara
Marks visited her cousin Miss Lottie Krause several days.
Mr. and Mrs. H.
DeKarske spent a few pleasant hours at P. Breseman’s Tuesday evening.
E.
Fischer and family and nephews Hermie and Garrett Riedel called at A. Voigt’s
Tuesday evening.
Mr. C. Bass and family went to Marshfield yesterday to
see Mrs. Joe Bass of Neillsville, in the hospital.
Miss Verna Bass is
visiting relatives in Marshfield for a few days.
Mr. and Mrs. W. Breseman
and Mr. and Mrs. F. Zille went blueberrying Wednesday.
