Greenwood (6 July 1967)

Mrs. Robert Susa spent Monday in Eau Claire with her daughter. She was accompanied by Mrs. Joe Susa, who spent the day with the Edwin Klueckmann family.

Miss Karen Killion returned to Wauwatosa last Thursday after spending several days with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rodgers.

Otto Franz of Mesa, Ariz., who was called here by the death of his brother, Adolph Franz, is spending several days with his daughters, Mrs. Richard Acker and Mrs. Lyle Verhulst, and their families.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Braun of Sheboygan Falls spent the weekend with their son, Clayton Braun, and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Delmain Toburen entertained Sunday at their home in celebration of the third birthday of their twin sons, Michael and Mark. Guests included the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Toburen and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dillenbeck of Greenwood; their great-grandfathers, Albert Fravert of Greenwood and Roger Dillenbeck of Marshfield; also Robert, James, Junior, Ricky, Joanne (name cut off here).

Eunice Klapatauskas and Jim Doepke of Milwaukee spent the weekend at the Julius Klapatauskas home.

A/2c Robert Trunkel of Antigo AFS, and Miss Judy Trunkel of Milwaukee, were guests a few days recently at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Trunkel.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gregorich and daughter, Linda of Cicero, Ill., are visiting his mother, Mrs. Mary Gregorich and other relatives.

Mrs. Henry Lamovec is a patient in a Rochester hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. James Juul and son, Jimmy of Northbrook, Ill., were guests last weekend of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dergance. Jimmy remained for a longer visit.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Suda entertained dinner guests Sunday in honor of the first Holy Communion of their daughter, Pam. Present were the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Suda, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lunka, and Mrs. Charles Suda and family.

Frank Volovsek, Sr., underwent surgery in a hosp ital in Marshfield.

Mr. and Phillip Lamovec and family of Chicago are visiting relatives in our area and in Greenwood.

The following priests were in Willard assisting with the Sacrament of confirmation: The Most Rev. Bishop Frederick Freking; the Very Rev. Norbert King of Loyal, Deacon; the Rev. John Pinion, sub-deacon, of Colby; the Rev. Andrew Bofenham, master of ceremonies, of Fond du Lac; the Rev. George Nelson, assistant in ceremonies, of Neillsville; the Rev. Aloysius Baumann of Greenwood and Rev. William V. Nikolai, pastor.

Mrs. Mary Shumate has returned to Chicago after spending some time with her brother, Frank Perushek, and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tolaney, Sr., spent the weekend in Milwaukee. Joe Tolaney, Jr., of Milwaukee was here to assist with the chores.

Emily Morgal of Chicago is here on a brief recess with her folks.

Robert Ulesich of Milwaukee spent last weekend here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ulesich.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Aumann left last weekend to attend the Pekol-Volk wedding in Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Pernic and family of Elmhurst, Ill., spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Pernic, and with her patents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Horn.
