Braun, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton (Silver - 18 June 1967)

The 25th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Braun was celebrated at the Sky Club at Thorp Saturday evening. Plans for the surprise occasion were made by the children, all of whom were present. They are three sons, a daughter and a grandson: Mr. and Mrs. Clayton W. Braun and son Perry of Medford, Miss Jeanne Braun of Kenosha and Gary and David Braun, at home.

Alice Ule and Clayton Braun were married June 18, 1942, in Zion Reformed Church parsonage in Greenwood by the Rev. B. M. Fresenborg. They have farmed 8 ½ miles northwest of Greenwood since.

Guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Edward Braun and grandchildren, Mark, David and Steven Boll, of Sheboygan Falls; Dr. and Mrs. Edward Braun of Brookfield, Miss Iris Karow and Ed Karow of Lake City, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Speich of Rockford, Ill.; Ed Ule of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hribar and son, Bill of Willard; and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Alperstett of Greenwood.
