Wrobel, Carla Rae (27 JAN 1962)
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wrobel,

the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hansen of Granton (Clark Co., Wis.), Saturday,
Jan. 27, 1962. The wedding, which took place at St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral, La
Crosse, was performed by Monsignor Kundinger at 11 a.m.
As she approached
the altar the bride wore a gown of white delustered satin which was trimmed with
pearls and extended into a chapel train. Her elbow length veil was caught to a
crystal crown and she carried red Happiness roses and stephanotis entwined with
pearls.
Mrs. Leo Pfaff of La Crosse attended her sister as matron of
honor and bridesmaids were Diane Hansen, Granton, and Sharon Wrobel of La
Crosse. Pamela Wrobel of La Crosse was the junior bridesmaid. She is a niece of
the bride. They wore dresses of red velveteen with white fur headpieces. White
fur muffs with red Happiness roses completed their ensembles.
Mrs. Wrobel
saw her daughter’s wedding in a dusty rose embroidered organza over taffeta
dress, and the mother of the groom wore a beige brocade tunic outfit with moss
green accessories. Each was presented with a rose orchid and carnations corsage.
Serving as best man was Harold Kaiser of Milwaukee, with Carl Wenzler of
Madison and Jon Fisher of Granton as groomsmen. Junior groomsman was Craig
Wrobel of La Cross, who is a nephew of the bride. Flower girl and ring bearer
were Lorraine Hansen, the groom’s sister of Granton, and Sammy Pfaff of La
Crosse, the bride’s nephew. Ushering duties were performed by Gary Clay of
Minneapolis, Minn. and Russell Balge of Madison.
A dinner and reception
were held at the Chateau Supper Club at La Crosse. The bride is a graduate of
the Winona Secretarial School, Winona, Minn. Her new husband is a graduate of
the University of Wisconsin at Madison and has accepted a position in Windsor
Locks, Connecticut where they will make their home. A honeymoon trip will be
