Kovar, Rose (30 August 1911 - 2 September 1967)

Miss Rose Kovar, 56, died September 2, in an Eau Claire hospital following a long illness.

She was born in Dunn County August 30, 1911, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kovar, Sr. She moved with her parents to Merrillan at an early age and attended the Merrillan Public Schools. She was employed as a housekeeper at the time of her death.

Services were held September 6 in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Alma Center, with the Rev. Charles Hervers officiating. Burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery in Alma Center.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Fred Magray of Kansasville; five brothers, Sylvester of Owen, Joseph and Leo of Merrillan, Peter of Altoona and James of Janesville.
