Gephart, Lucille ‘Lucy’ (19 September 1894 - 1 September 1967)

Mrs. Lucille ‘Lucy’ Christ Gephart, 72, daughter of the late Frederich and Minnie Christ, was born September 19, 1894, in Cresca, Ia. She spent her early life in that area. She died here September 1.

On February 15, 1917, she was married to John Gephart. Most of their married life was spent in Mason City, Ia., and Rock Island, Ill. They later moved to Humbird, where Mr. Gephart died in 1962.

In 1965, Mrs. Gephart, due to ill health, became a resident of Memorial Home in Neillsville.

Following memorial services September 5, in the Humbird Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ralph Walker of Augusta, burial was made in the family lot in Cresca, Ia.

She is survived by a son, Charles, of Rock Island, Ill.; two sisters, Miss Mayme Christ and Mrs. Bess Schroeder of Escondido, Cal.; and a nephew, J. K. Culbertson of Salt Lake City, Utah.
