Fairchild, Judith Ann (Marriage - 9 September 1967)
Miss Judith Ann Fairchild, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Fairchild of Baileys
Harbor and a social welfare worker in Clark County, exchanged nuptial vows
Saturday uniting her in marriage with Douglas S. Green son of Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Green of Madison. The 3 p.m. double ring ceremony was performed by the
Rev. Thomas Spencer in the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Baileys Harbor.
Mr. Fairchild presented his daughter in marriage. For her wedding the bride
chose an Empire gown of white ribbon lace styled with an A-line skirt. The gown
was enhanced in the back by a ribbon lace train. Her shoulder length veil was
attached to a pillbox hat of white ribbon lace. She carried a large cabbage rose
with a bud.
Miss Jeanne Fairchild of Baileys Harbor was her maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were
Miss Leann John of Baileys Harbor and Mrs. Dawn Wingender of Marinette. Each
attendant was attired in an A-line Empire gown of Loden green bonded crepe. Each
carried a small orange cabbage rose.
Robert E. Olson of West Allis was the bestman. Groomsmen were Kenneth Huntzicker
of Madison and Richard Green of Madison. Ushers were William Fairchild of
Baileys Harbor and Stephen Green of Madison.
The new Mrs. Green is a 1966 graduate of Wisconsin State University-Stevens
Point and has been employed as a social worker with the Clark County Welfare
Department. The groom attended Wisconsin State University-Stevens Point and has
