Smazal, Carol (23 FEB 1963)
Miss Carol Smazal and Ronald Krueger were united in marriage Saturday, Feb. 23,
1963 at the Marathon County Courthouse, with Judge Ronald D. Keberle reading the
exchange of promises.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smazal, Abbotsford, and Mr. and
Mrs. Melvin Krueger, Rout 2, Athens.
Attending the couple were Mr. and Mrs. James Kalepp of Edgar.
For her wedding the bride chose a beige suit with a small veiled hat and
matching accessories. She wore a shoulder corsage of a lavender orchid and lily
of the valley.
The matron of honor also had a lavender orchid corsage and pinned it to the
brown suit which she wore. Her accessories were in beige.
Festivities of the wedding day included a supper for the members of the
immediate families and wedding attendants at the Rainbow Club at Dorchester and
a wedding dance at the Dorchester Memorial Hall.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Krueger are making their home, for the present, with his
parents. Mr. Krueger is engaged in farming with his father.
The groom attended the Abbotsford High School and the bride attended at Colby.
