Wiersig, Mrs. Edmund (1874? - 6 MAR 1963)
Mrs. Edmund Wiersig, 88, of Elkhart Lake died at the Rocky Knoll Sanitarium at
Plymouth on March 6, 1963.
The Ed Wiersig family were former Colby residents from 1907 and lived in the
town of Hull for 17 years on the present Clarence Koenig farm, two miles east of
Colby on Highway N.
The following relatives attended the funeral at Plymouth last Saturday: Rudolph
Wiersig, Herbert Wiersig, Norman Wiersig, Reinhardt Wiersig, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Wiersig, Mrs. John Rashka, Mr. Elmer Wellman and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Runzheimer
and Susan.
The relatives also visited Ed Wiersig at the Rocky Knoll Sanitarium, where he is
recuperating from recent surgery.
Survivors of Mrs. Wiersig, in addition to her husband, are: Mrs. Edward Giebler
(Edna) of Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Karl Viercks (Claire) and Paul Wiersig, both of
Milwaukee, and George Wiersig of California.
