Glasby, Emma (9 MAR 1882 - 20 APR 1963)

Funeral services for Mrs. William Glasby, 81, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), who died Saturday, April 20, 1963, at 10 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, were held Wednesday afternoon at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Grove.

The body was brought from the Lulloff Funeral Home at Colby for the 1 p.m. services. The Rev. Jerome Wohlfeil officiated and burial followed in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frank buss, Oscar Kademan, Roy Utke, Bill Anderson, Walter Krueger and Ray Kobs.

Mrs. Glasby was born Emma Moldenhauer in Manitowoc County on March 9, 1882. She married William Glaby Nov. 16, 1903, and after their marriage, the couple lived in Milwaukee for 10 years, after which they came to the town of green Grove, where she has lived for the past 49 years.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Ladies' Aid.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Henry (Lorraine) Thompson of Deerfield, Ill.; Miss Margaret Glasby of Curtiss; Mrs. Walter (Violet) Draheim, Owen; Mrs. Gerald (Virginia) Heberman, Marshfield; and Mrs. Donald (Mary Jane) Hebert, Spencer. There are also 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A sister, Mrs. Mary Rusch of Wittenberg, and a brother, Karl Moldenhauer of Huntington, Ind., also survive.
