Schraufnagel, Karin F. (11 MAY 1963)
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schraufnagel, Abbotsford, announce the marriage of their
daughter, Karin Faye, to Mr. Neil A. Schmitt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schmitt
of route 3, Marshfield.
The wedding took place in a double ring ceremony at Dubuque, Iowa on Saturday,
May 11, 1963.
For the occasion the bride was attired in a street length white dress designed
with lace bodice with a bateau neckline and three-quarter length sleeves. The
full skirt of silk organza was detailed with a lace panel down the back and a
bow at the back of the wide waistline. She wore a crown of flowers with a short
veil and carried a colonial bouquet of pink rosebuds, baby mums and lily of the
valley with ribbon streamers.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Schmitt are making their home at Marshfield, route 3, where
the groom is employed as a machinist with his father at Schmitt's Machines.
