The ice harvest is about finished, Frank Hiles having the largest amount.
Buford Blakeley made a flying trip to Finley Sunday, conveying Miss Agnes Keenan
to her school. He says if school mams want to see their mother they can go on
the stage, as he is afraid to come home in the dark.
Mrs. John Morgan passed away at her home January 24, after an illness of four
months. She is survived by her husband, four daughters and two sons.
Miss Georgine Bailey and Arthur Billings of Hiles visited with the former’s
parents Sunday evening.
Ivan Kidd while visiting relatives here had a violent attack of rabbitetis but
recovered and returned home.
The baby of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Oaks got badly scalded by hot water but will
recover.
Mr. J. M. Kidd of Osseo, Wis., is visiting his sisters, Mrs. C. Blakeley and
Mrs. E. Bailey.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Keenan while sitting in the parlor recently were alarmed when
the plaster from the ceiling fell down on their heads. No damages done.
The Misses Jessie and Grace Powers took supper at the Frank Hiles farm Sunday.
