Kuehn, Norbert E (25 May 1915 - 29 September 1967)
Norbert E. Kuehn, 52, of Waldo and formerly of Greenwood died Friday morning in
a Plymouth hospital following an auto-train accident Thursday night. Funeral
services were held Monday from Immanuel United Church of Christ in Greenwood.
The Rev. David Logue officiated. Burial took place in the West Side
Cemetery.
Mr. Kuehn was born May 25, 1915, in the Town of Warner. He attended the Decker
School. He was married to the former Hilda Kreissit February 25, 1929,
(corrected by Allen Hodnett) in Withee. He moved to Waldo eight years ago, where
he was employed as a garage mechanic and with the Lakeside Canning Company in
Sheboygan Falls. During the last year he had been employed at the Stokely
Canning Company in Plymouth.
He was a member of the Salem Park Road United Church of Christ, Sheboygan Falls,
and was a treasurer of the Men’s Brotherhood of the church.
He is survived by his wife; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Kuehn, Greenwood;
two sisters, Mrs. John (Ivalyn) Stephan of Waldo and Mrs. Harold (Eileen)
Hodnett of Withee; and by two brothers, Harold of Owen and Ivan of Marshfield.
