Dan Messing received word of the death of his father on Saturday last. He was a
resident of the town of Sherwood.
On Friday night the friends of Miss Lottie Hart gave her a tin and granite
shower in anticipation of her coming marriage. Those from Lindsey who were
present were Ora Ingle, and her sister Ethel, Nellie Broker, Edwin Kettelle and
Anna and Susie, and Eddie Hahm.
P. J. Tilton and H. Hahm were transacting business with C. W. Chubb Monday eve.
There was a good crowd out to the dance Monday night.
But it is reported that some importations from a neighboring town were not in a
condition to appear in a discriminating company.
Mrs. Kramer is spending 2 weeks in Chicago.
There will be a social at the M. E. church Friday night. Supper and program.
