Hugh Berg was seen on our streets one day last week on business.
P. J. Kemmeter from Granton called on business friends Wednesday morning.
An advertising show holds forth at the opera house every night this week. It is
worth the money seeing it. Saturday night they will give a free dance for those
buying tickets for the show.
E. R. Behringer sold his house and twenty acres to Thode Harriman. Mr. Herriman
[sic] will move about April 1st. Mr. Behringer sold the lot joining the bank lot
to Mr. P. J. Dows. Mr. Dows will commence building as soon as the snow leaves.
Mr. Behringer intends to build on the land bought from Mrs. Stewart, one story
brick veneer.
It is said that H. Montag intends to change his butcher shop building into a
dwelling house as soon as John Hefty moves into the new location with his
butcher business.
Mrs. Crego who was very seriously sick seems to be out of danger and gaining.
Miss Vivian Degener was in Neillsville on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Hogenson Sundayed with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eide.
Chas. Farrell is prepaired [sic] to repair shoes any time.
John Hefty helped his father-in-law Peter Faber to saw wood last week.
Chas. Moths has his saw outfit at Albert Goetter’s place where he is sawing
wood.
