Larson, Martin (11 DEC 1892 - 25 MAY 1963)
Funeral services for Martin Larson, 70, of route 1, Abbotsford, were held
Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. R.L. Tellock officiating.
Burial was made in the Curtiss Lutheran Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Arvid Carlson, Clarence Gosse, Ole Hanson, Peter Hanson,
Henry Hacker and Clarence Nelson.
During the services Miss Bunee Kraut sang "In the Garden: and "Beyond the
Sunset." Mis Rhonda Mattson was organist and accompanist.
Mr. Martin died Saturday, May 25, 1963 at 9:30 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield. Leukemia was given as the cause of death.
The funeral arrangements were handled by Polnaszek Funeral Home, Abbotsford.
Mr. Martin was born Dec. 11, 1892 on a farm in the town of Mayville (Clark Co.,
Wis.), where he lived his entire life. He was educated at schools at Abbotsford.
He was a member of St. Paul's American Lutheran Church. He never married.
He is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Albert (Louise) Bakke, Curtiss; Mrs. Arthur
(Alma) Thompson, Curtiss; Mrs. Marius (Agnes) Hansen, Green Bay; Mrs. Kenneth
(Helen) Kramer, Belleville; and the Misses Demma and Mable Larson, at home.; and
two brothers, Oscar Larson, Woodburn, Oregon; and Malcolm Larson, Weyauwega.
