Ernst, Rosetta Annette (7 December 1940 - 23 November 2012)

Rosetta Annette Ernst, 71, of Thorp, WI, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012, with family at her side.

Rosetta was born on December 7, 1940, in Denver, to Jess and Viola Dunston. She grew up in Brighton, Fort Lupton and Longmont, CO, where she attended school. On August 13, 1965, Rosetta married Harold Ernst, the love of her life.

Rose enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and family very much. She also liked farming and gardening.

Rosetta is survived by her husband, Harold Ernst; her daughter, LaRae (Scott) Cooley of Boyd; two sons: Ronnie (Kay) Ernst of Owen and Jess (Addie) Ernst of Withee; 13 grandchildren: Scott, Paul and Amy Cooley, Mitchell, Jared, Erica and Emily Ernst, Belle, Donald and Jake Ernst, Kelly Kristi and Kory; three brothers: Ray (Dee) Dunston of Cadott, Vernon (Ruth) Dunston of Cadott and Kenneth (Bonnie) Dunston of Platteville, CO; a sister, Edna (John) Higham of Lublin; brothers-in-law: Andy (Judy) Ernst and Larry Ernst, both of Longmont, CO; three sisters-in-law: Sylvia (Delee) Miller of Georgetown, ID, Rose Ganzel of Neenah, WI, and Beverly Ernst of Lyons, CO; and also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law; a sister, LaVern Dunston; a brother Donald Dunston and two brothers-in-law: Walter Ernst and Johnnie Ernst of Colorado.

A celebration of Rosetta’s life will be held from 3 - 6 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2012, at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott, WI.
