Wm. Zorn sold his farm last week to a party from Richland County for $16,000.
A little girl of Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Smith, while playing with a paring knife,
accidentally stuck the knife in her eye, cutting the eye ball. They rushed her
to the Marshfield hospital to receive medical attention. It is sincerely hoped
they will save the eye.
Mrs. Erenst Lee entertained company last week.
Harry Renne of Veefkind was through here Wednesday, selling nursery stock.
Louis Laemis of Marshfield recently puchased the John Devine farm.
Otto Gruenke and family and Mrs. Zorn autoed to Marshfield Saturday.
H.A. Knoll and family spent Sunday at Loyal Jordan's.
Mr. and Mrs. Van Gordon have moved back to Maplehurst.
John Patno has rented A. Rueth's farm and took possession Oct. 1st.
John Graham has purchased a gasoline engine at H. Degener's.
Gordon Davis and family spent Sunday with relatives at Veefkind.
Ray Ure was through here Tuesday looking up threshing jobs.
