Mrs. John Vandeberg and daughter Ruth came home Saturday from Marshfield where
Ruth had an operation. She is getting along nicely.
Rhoda Davis went to Neillsville last Friday to see a doctor and he advised an
operation, so they had the operation the same day at the Neillsville Hospital.
She is getting along fine.
Miss Goldie Anderson took supper Tuesday evening at Abie Turner's.
There was a good turnout to the basket social in District No. 2 last Friday
night. Proceeds were $19.
E.M. Schoenfeld and wife and Abie Turner and wife attended the movies at
Neillsville last Friday evening.
Lubke boys are threshing in this neighborhood this week.
E.G. Rowe was at Granton Monday with a veal calf.
Abie Turner had a colt so badly cut in the wire fence last Thursday that Dr.
Schweinler had to come out and attend to the cuts.
E.G. Rowe and A.C. Turner were working for Forest Rowe on Tuesday.
Will Benedict and family and John Davis were callers at the Neillsville hospital
Sunday.
Mrs. Ed Thurber of Heintown attended church here on Sunday.
Miss Kennedy called on the schools through here Tuesday. She also called on the
carpenters that are putting up the new school house in District No. 1.
