Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Davel, newlyweds, left Saturday night for Milwaukee to make
their home.
Rev. A. Bendler of Milwaukee, Rev. H. Brandt, Frank and Louis Hemp of
Neillsville called on friends here on Wednesday.
W.B. Thoma returned Thursday from his visit at Helenville.
A birthday party was given for Mrs. Paul Klauer Wednesday evening.
A few young folks had a wiener roast by the river Sunday forenoon.
Mr. and Mrs. John Dudei drove to York Friday to assist Mr. and Mrs. Carl Radtke,
while they had the threshers.
Helen Thoma of Neillsville visited Sunday at Albert Hemp's.
Mrs. Wm. Storm helped take care of her father, Herman Hoffman Sr., last week.
Bruno Henchen and daughters Frieda and Elsie, attended a wedding south of
Neillsville Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Worchel visited Sunday at the home of her parents, August
Beyer and wife.
The Hewettville and Tioga baseball teams played on August Dudei's field Sunday
afternoon, at which Tioga won.
Anna Manthei worked for Mrs. F. Weeks in Neillsville last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Clintsman returned Tuesday from Florence, S.D., where they
spent the summer.
