Sibson, Rev. J.G. (abduction - 1915)
Some few weeks ago Rev. J.G. Sibson, pastor of the Marshfield Methodist Church,
went to Minneapolis to take medical treatment for a severe nervous breakdown.
Since going there Rev. Sibson dropped out of sight and the efforts of his
friends at Marshfield to locate him were without avail. Presiding Elder Irish of
Eau Claire took the matter up and made a search for him in Minneapolis. The lost
minister was finally found in a private sanitarium where he had been placed by
crooks who had kidnapped him. While in the sanitarium he had been forced to draw
checks for amounts totaling $125. Rev. Sibson was taken from the sanitarium and
taken to a reputable hospital in Minneapolis.
