wedding trip to southwestern Wisconsin and Muscatine, Ia., and are making their
home in Colby. The groom is employed at the Strechert Mfg. Co., Abbotsford, and
the bride is employed at Medo-Farms Dairy Bar, Abbotsford.
Marriage vows between Mrs. Marie Pearson and Carl Emil Erickson, both of Colby,
were repeated Saturday, June 22, in a 4 o'clock double ring ceremony at St.
John's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. urman officiating.
Attending the couple were Mrs. Peggy Havelin, Owen, and Hans Erickson, sister
and brother of the couple.
For her wedding the bride chose a blue street dress with embroidery trim and
white accessories. She wore a corsage of yellow carnations and pink garnet
roses.
Her matron of honor was attired in an egg shell street dress accented with a
corsage of red and white carnations and red garnet roses. Pink accessories
completed her ensemble.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the bride's home and at nine
o'clock the new Mr. and Mrs. Erickson greeted friends at a wedding dance at
Cherokee.
