Schilling, Nancy C. (25 May 1945 - 17 November 2012)
Nancy C. Schilling, 67, of Chili passed away peacefull6y surrounded by her
family, Nov. 17, 2012, at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Nancy was born May 5, 1945, in Marathon County, the daughter of Harold and
Mildred (Warren) Hansen. She attended Veefkind and Spencer schools.
Following graduation, she worked at Felker Ford in Marshfield. She married
Philip Schilling May 7, 1966. She and Phil raised their family in Chili. She
also assisted Phil in the family business and was an auxiliary member of
Gideon’s’ International. She taught Bible school, Sunday school and was
assistant youth director at Immanuel United Methodist Church of Chili.
Nancy’s hobbies included following her sons’ sport of auto racing and daughter’s
horse showing and truck pulling. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family,
especially holiday meals and other special family events. Flowers were her
passion.
Nancy is lovingly survived by her husband, Philip Schilling of Chili; daughter,
Lisa (Pat) Ule, Chili; sons Luke (Stacy) Schilling of Granton and lance
Schilling of Park Rapids, MN; and two grandchildren, Cole and Dillon. Nancy is
also survived by her sister, Ruthanne Rahm of Marshfield. She is further
survived by two sisters-in-law, Sandy Hansen and Marjorie Hansen, as well as
many other relatives and friends.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Mildred Hansen, and her
three brothers, Raymond Hansen, Donald Hansen and Allan Hansen.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 5
p.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Chili, with a memorial service at 5
p.m. and a meal to follow.
