College Notes (5 December 2012)
Rhiannon Mohan, an industrial engineering and Bachelor’s of Science in business
management major from Colby, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering
dean’s list for the 2012 fall quarter. Students named to the dean’s list have
earned at least 30 credits and have a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of
3.2 or higher.
Ethan Ensign, a mechanical engineering major from Unity, was named to the
Milwaukee School of Engineering honors list for the 2012 fall quarter.
Undergraduate students on the honors list have earned a GPA of at least 3.2 for
the quarter and are not on the dean’s list.
The following area students were among the August 2012 graduates of the
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Jacob S. Heckel, Abbotsford, Bachelor of Arts in political science, social
science.
Warren W. Kinnick, Chili, Bachelor of Science in American studies -
Collaborative Degree Program.
Emily R. Ratsch, Neillsville, Master of Science in human and community
resources.
Three faculty, an alumnus and 73 students were inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi
national honor society at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in an initiation
ceremony Nov. 12. The UW-Green Bay chapter, founded in 1997, inducts members
once each year. Among the inductees wee Neillsville students, Ellen M. Clark and
Mary K. Olson-Back.
