Henry Sternitzky transacted business at Neillsville Sat.
Walter Krause has returned from his visit at Milwaukee and Oshkosh.
Mrs. Anna Martin visited friends in Neillsville, Saturday.
Lawson of Granton shipped a car [of] hay from here, Friday.
Wm. Reisner and John Speiser had a sand bee Thursday and Friday of last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mayhew and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Preston were guests at the John
Martin home last Thursday evening.
Mrs. Oscar Doughty and Mrs. Schlinsog were in attendance at the Carnation Club
at Mrs. J. Martin’s Thursday.
A. Rueth transacted business here one day last week.
Chas. Moths cut feed at C. Chubbs Friday afternoon and at F. Helm’s Monday
afternoon.
Mrs. Geo. Brooks visited at the Erwin Brooks home one day recently.
J. Harriman was over from Chili one day last week on business.
Mr. and Mrs. August Snyder came over from Neillsville Friday afternoon. Miss
Elsie accompanied them home, returning Sunday.
John Schafer of Chili moved his family into the Carl Opelt house last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Montag returned home after spending several months on their
farm at Cedarhurst.
Dr. Schultz reports a fine baby girl at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Altenburg,
Jr.
Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Altenburg visited relatives here Sunday.
Ernest Sternitzky is on the sick list.
Little Craig Montag fell through a hole from a top floor of the barn to the
floor of the basement, a distance of about eight feet, at their home Sunday
morning. Although not seriously hurt he was somewhat bruised and badly shaken
up.
