While we enjoy medium tempered winter weather the southern part of this state and Chicago more or less enjoy blizzards and snow storms.

John Hutt received the contract to dig the cellar for the bank and Gustave Lindow received the contract to furnish the building stone for same.

Vivian Degener is staying with her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Walters in town Grant this week.

Bolts are coming in quite fast lately.

Quite a few cars of hay have been shipped the last few days by different parties.

John Vanderwyst has been a heavy loser of stock lately and Sat. he lost a horse, leaving him only one horse.

Albert Gotter was a Marshfield business caller between trains Wed. morning.

Miss Vera Beeckler has been engaged to teach the spring term of our school.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Waterman visited with their son Lem at Winona from Saturday till Monday.

Tack Olson loaded 2 cars of furniture and farm machinery to go to the western part of the state.

Coming! The Ranee Show, under the auspices of the R. N. of A. The Ranee Co. will give an entertainment at the M. W. A. hall in the evenings of March 6 and 7. This company is well known and highly recommended and deserves a liberal share of your patronage. Everybody invited. Admissions 15 and 25 cents.
