Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Phipps and daughters took in the show at Loyal Thursday and
Friday night.
Miss Sara Davis, who spent the last 4 weeks with the A.M. Johnson family at
Rozellville, returned to her home here Thursday.
Mrs. Orrin Montgomery entertained the W.W. Club at her home last Thursday. The
following young people were entertained at the M. Dorst home Sunday afternoon
and evening: Joe, Jake, Geo. And Anna Krostag and Theodore Fischer of
Rozellville, Lloyd Phelps and Norma Spry, Jessie Scoles, Alta Wright, Gretchen
Palmateur, Edna Bashford, Scot and Dulcia Smith.
Miss Jean Davis, who is a student at the Eau Claire Normal, visited home folks
from Friday night until Monday morning.
Mrs. Walter Rowe and Elsie Dorst assisted Mrs. Jesse Rowe in cooking for
threshers on Monday.
Miss Jean and Sara Davis called on Nell and Elsie Dorst Saturday evening.
Mr. Frank Davis and sister Mrs. Chappel returned to their home in Milwaukee
Monday. Miss Sara Davis accompanied them for a few weeks visit.
Rev. Smith of Minneapolis will preach at the Garbush Schoolhouse this Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Pietenpol and baby Aletha autoed to Loyal Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Davis and daughter Ursula and his brother and sister visited
the Louis Nickel family Saturday afternoon and evening.
Mr. and Mrs. W.J. McClaflin were Sunday visitors at Ernest Grabe's.
Mr. Pal Malone, state manager of the Protestant Hospital Association, and his
deputy Nellie Dorst, were out canvassing for the association Tuesday afternoon
and Wednesday morning. They are meeting with very good success.
