Truman Davis went to Chicago Saturday with two cars of stock for his father and
returned Tuesday.
Al Nonhof and family spent Sunday with the Geo. Glenburg family in Unity.
Mrs. Andrew Anderson and daughter left for theri home in Taylor on Monday.
Mrs. Truman Davis, daughter Lucille, son Eldred and Mother Mrs. John Breese
spent Sunday afternoon at the Wm. Anthony home.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hayden drove to Neillsville Monday.
Threshing and silo filling are a thing of the past here.
The Mike Riley family is nicely settled in their new home and sending four of
their children to the Granton school since Monday.
Alta Wright, a teacher training school pupil, visited Daphne Beeckler's school
on Monday and Tuesday. She taught the school, while others of her class had to
teach other schools.
Ray Mortimer ate dinner at Dale Lee's Monday.
Mrs. Truman Davis and son took dinner with pa and ma Breese Monday.
Freeman Dankemyer and family spent Sunday with Ma Krause.
Joe Krause went to Eau Claire Saturday to see his wife who is still a patient at
the hospital.
Roy Lawrence and family spent Sunday with Geo. Huntley and wife.
The Mesdames Al Nonhof and G. Murphy called on Mrs. W.S. Davis Saturday
afternoon.
Mrs. Schafer of Granton assisted her daughter-in-law with the threshing Friday.
W.B. Wentworth and son Rush went to Winona Saturday.
