A number of the young people gave Marion Smith a pleasant surprise party Saturday night. The evening was greatly enjoyed by all. Miss Marion left Wednesday for Milwaukee where she enters Trinity hospital to become a professional nurse.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Richter a 6 pound girl, Wednesday of last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Agin went to Waldo last Sunday to attend the funeral of Mr. Aukland, a relative.

Mr. and Mrs. Vint Lee of the Ridge spent Sunday here with his parents.

Lew Smith and Oscar Yahr had hay baled last week.

It is rumored that Elmer Dennis and family will move back onto their farm again this spring.

If reports are true Frank Rogers will work for Cash Ide, again this summer.
