Taplin, Lloyd (86th Birthday - 17 JUL 1963)
The 86th birthday anniversary of Lloyd Taplin was celebrated Wednesday, July 17,
1963, at the Leahy Nursing Home, Abbotsford, where Mr. Taplin has been a
resident since last September.
The residents of the home and one guest, Arnold Ruprich of Dorchester, joined in
the observance. There was a birthday cake with lighted candles and the guests
sang "The Happy Birthday" song.
Mr. Taplin, who was formerly of Unity, had been making his home with his only
son, Russell of Rhinelander prior to coming to the Leahy Nursing Home.
Mr. and Mrs. Taplin of Rhinelander visited him Saturday.
