Kobs, Fred (24 JUL 1895 - 12 AUG 1963)
Fred John Kobs, 78, Colby, died Monday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital in
Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church, with
Rev. J. Wohlfeil officiating, and burial will be in the Colby Cemetery, under
direction of the Lulloff Funeral Home.
Mr. Kobs was born July 24, 1895 in Colby and lived in this area all his life. He
worked for Colby Cheese Box Co. for 30 years, retiring eight years ago.
He was married May 17, 1918, to Alma Voge, and was a member of Zion Lutheran
Church and the American Legion.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Bernice Rosselet, Milwaukee; two sons, Delos
Mount Horeb, and Gerald, Gardena, Calif., and five grandchildren.
