Pupp, Agnes M. (8 OCT 1916 - 11 DEC 2012)

Agnes M. Pupp, 96, Marshfield, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church, Marshfield. Rev. Samuel Martin will officiate and music will be provided by St. John's Church Funeral Choir. Burial will take place in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Patrick, Ben, Chad, Scott, Jessie, and Jason Pupp and Adam Miller. The visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home and on Saturday from 9:30 am until service time at St. John's Catholic Church. A combined parish and St. John's Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service will be held on Friday at 4:00 pm at Rembs Funeral Home.

Agnes was born on October 8, 1916 in Dorchester to Frank and Anna (Metz) Geiger. She was united in marriage to George J. Pupp on October 16, 1934 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. He died on March 31, 1993.

The Pupps farmed in Stratford until 1968. In 1969 they moved to Marshfield and Agnes was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital until her retirement in 1981.

Agnes was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed camping with her family, knitting, crocheting and gardening.

She is survived by her children, Ronald (Joann) Pupp of Cerritos, CA, Robert (Ann) Pupp of Banning, CA, Vernon (Dolores) Pupp of Rowland Heights, CA, Gary (Linda) Pupp of Larsen, WI, Duane (Lynette) Pupp of Stratford, Lyle (Laurel) Pupp, of Stratford, Daniel (Ann) Pupp of Baraboo, Larry (Cathy) Pupp of Houston, MN, and Karen (Les) Miller of Spencer. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother, Leo (Dorothy) Geiger of Loyal, and 2 sisters, Henrietta Gundlach of Marshfield and Ethel Pupp of Wausau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, a daughter, Mary Ann in infancy, a son David, a grandson, Eric and 13 siblings.

The family wishes to thank the staffs of the Marshfield Care Center and Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital for the kind care provided to Agnes.

The family will designate a memorial in her name at a later date.
