Krze, Agnes (21 January 1883 - 3 October 1967)

Mrs. Agnes Krze, 84, of Greenwood, died October 3, of bronchial pneumonia at the Clark County Hospital in Owen, where she had been a resident for the last 11 years.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. David Logue officiated, with burial taking place in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Agnes Mazovec Krze was born January 21, 1883, in Yugoslavia. She came to the United States as a young girl and settled in North Chicago, where she married Cyril Krze. They came to the Greenwood area in 1928, where she had resided since. Mr. Krze died in 1966.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Amos (Agnes) Boe, Mrs. Walter (Julia) Rasmussen, and Mrs. Lawrence (Mary) Scheuerman, all of Greenwood. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Roy and Gary Rasmussen, Richard and Robert Scheuerman, Edward Pekovsek and James Boe. Mrs. Duane Olson, accompanied by Mrs. Daniel Olson, sang, “Asleep in Jesus,” and “Ivory Palaces.”

People from away here for the service were: Mrs. Eugene Jeitz, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scheuerman, Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pekovsek, Marshfield; and Miss Janice Boe of Seattle, Wash. A number of relatives and friends from surrounding areas also attended the services.
