Delo, Jerome (2 OCT 1918 - MAY 1988)

Loyal--Jerome Delo, 69, of the town of Beaver, was dead on arrival at 10:30 pm at St. Joseph's Hospital Emergency Room, Marshfield.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Loyal. The Rev. C. Arlene Denzer will officiate. Burial will be in the town of Beaver Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his six sons, Gordon, Leslie, Rodney, Kevin, Jim and Larry Delo. John Bloomfield will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, from 5-9 p.m. today and Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.

He was born Oct. 2, 1918 in Sheboygan County to Henry and Rosa Delo. He attended Ervine school for eight years, and two years at Riplinger High School.

He married Marjorie Stowe Nov. 18, 1939, in Unity.

They farmed in the town of Beaver until 1985 when he retired. He also worked at the Packaging Corp. of America in Colby for 28 years.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Loyal.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; six sons, Gordon of Coral Springs, Fla., Leslie of Janesville, Rodney and Larry both of Loyal, Kevin of Arvada, Nev., and Jim of Greenwood; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Nichole) Brehly of Waterford, Mrs. Sharon Hackel of Colby, Mrs. John (Sandy) Bowe of Loyal, and Mrs. Dennis (Barbara) Adler of Marshfield; one brother, Merlin of Loyal; and 19 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, and three grandchildren.
